Tuesday

This is Phillip & Bella. They came over for my Birthday. We had soo much fun! I was tired after they left but I sure am glad they came over with my other bestest friends Trina & Jared!


This is me waiting to eat my birthday cookie. It sure is hard to wait. Gus, Phillip & Bella all got special cookies too. These cookies are YUMMY!

We went to the park this morning. Since it rained there were all kinds of smells to sniff. It sure was fun! Life is fun!

Birthday!

It's my Birthday! Which means I get presents and treats and extra lovins! Birthdays are great! I already got a couple new toys and they are AWESOME! Although Mom & Dad made me let Gus play with them - which is ok - Gus is the most best big brother EVER! Momma says that my bestest friends Phillip & Bella and Trina & Jared are coming over to have fun with us. I can't wait! Life & Birthdays are FUN!

Guest Blog Thursday - Not

HI! Usually Thursday is Guest Day - but not today - just me! Hey I missed my friend Phillip's birthday yesterday - I hope he had a good day and received lots of treats and hugs and toys and stuff.
There has been a lot of activity on our walks lately. Sure has been fun. There are rabbits and squirrels and the rabbits all run in funny directions and I would really like to chase them but Mom won't let me. Although I did get to chase a bird the other day - that sure was fun.
Time to go take a nap. I like naps. Life is fun!

Guest Blog Thursday - Gus

I wasn't planning on doing this today - mostly to annoy the little one (I do enjoy doing that), however there was an event this morning that leads me to wonder... What use is the human nose?
Mom & I were on our morning walk. I smelled a squirrel, a rabbit and other myriads of smells that humans couldn't possibly understand so I'll leave it at that. I got excited. Mom just looked around thinking her eyes would tell her what was up. Unbelievable. So I ponder - can humans smell anything with that tiny nose?

Park

Went to a park today. Climbed some rocks - it was sooo much fun! I wanted to run everywhere but Mom wouldn't let me. Then we were on these other rocks and Dad had to take Gus down and then come and get me because Mom wouldn't take me across this narrow area of the ledge so Dad had to do it. It was funny seeing Gus so small when he was below me - but I couldn't let Gus be in front of me so I had to hurry down to where he was. Then it started to get hot so I tried to find as much shade as possible. Sure had fun though. Life is FUN!

petting

I really, really tried to get Gus to do Guest Blog Thursday yesterday - but he just ignored me. Oh well - maybe next week!
So, I've been wondering why humans like to touch the top of my head? Mom says its 'cause I'm so pretty. She also says it's called petting. But I don't like being touched on the top of my head. But I do like being called pretty. Everyone says I am - but I can't help it - it's just me! I like this petting if it's on my booty - that feels sooooo gooood. So next time I see you please feel free to scratch my booty. Oh - and Gus added he would like you to rub his belly. He really likes it - he's a-l-w-a-y-s asking for a belly rub.
Uh - oh loud noises - Mom says it's the angels bowling - she says they throw a ball at things to knock them down. I'm not so big on the noises - but the throwing the ball part sure sounds like fun! That's the best!

pretty day

Oh what a be-a-U-TI-ful DAY! It's pretty & sunny, except I don't like to go in the sun much. It gets really hot in the sun but it sure does make a pretty day. I got to go to the country today and chase my ball! Gus didn't get to go. Sometimes that happens. When it's just me & Mom I get to run & run & run even more then when Gus is there so I guess it's ok. I got to eat a treat ball while Gus was on his walk. Ever had one? They're absolutely the best - you should try one if you haven't had one 'cause they're really good. It's a toy filled with food! What FUN!

worms

Have you ever smelled a worm? Most of you are probably human and since you all have such small noses you probably can't truly enjoy the smells of a worm - especially the dead ones (those of you that are dogs, like me, truly know how wonderful these are)! So much fun to roll on the dead ones! Gus & I found a dead worm in the yard and we rolled on it and rubbed on it..... oh the fun! Gus is the BEST at finding them. Of course Gus is really good at everything - but finding dead worms is really cool. Life is fun!

run!

Yeah! Got to run and chase my ball today! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Momma is always so happy when I bring it back to her so she throws it again. I love chasing the ball! I think it's fun that Mom is so happy so I keep bringing it back. It's also fun to run after it, it's so fun to run. I don't know why Momma doesn't run after the ball too - I think she would like it. She just told me that no she wouldn't like it - but I don't know why - running is fun. Life is FUN!
